Individual Psychology Sessions
Individual psychology sessions are available both in person and via secure telehealth, offering flexible, evidence-based psychological care to women through every season of life.
Whether you prefer the connection of face-to-face sessions or the convenience of accessing support from home, therapy is tailored to your individual needs, goals, and circumstances. Together, we'll work collaboratively in a warm, supportive space using evidence-based approaches to help you navigate life's challenges.
Telehealth provides a flexible option for those balancing work, family, distance, or other commitments, while in-person appointments are available from my Ballarat practice.
Fees & Medicare
The full fee is $250 per 50–60 minute session.
You do not need a referral to book an appointment; however if you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $101.55 per session. The out-of-pocket expense to you as a client with a valid MHCP, is $148.45.
Without a MHCP, you will incur the full session fee. Private health rebates may be available, but you will need to check with your insurer as to what, or how much of your session is covered.
A MHCP is a plan created by your GP that allows access to Medicare rebates for psychological support. To access this, you can book a longer appointment with your GP and request a Mental Health Care Plan. Your GP will discuss your needs and provide a referral if appropriate.
You can access up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice via email to emma@mindpsychologyco.com.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, will incur the full GAP fee of $148.45. Please know this policy is not intended to penalize you, but reflects the practical reality that your booked session time cannot be reallocated on short notice. Timely payment allows me to continue offering care to all clients and maintain the quality of service you deserve.
Please note that Medicare does not cover cancelled or non-attended appointments.

Getting Started
Finding the right psychologist matters.
If you’re unsure whether this feels like the right fit, you’re welcome to reach out with any questions before booking. This can be a helpful way to get a sense of how I work and whether it aligns with what you’re looking for.
By booking a session, you’ll be guided through a consent process that outlines fees, Medicare, privacy, and practice policies in more detail.
